Sophie’s Cleaning Tips

The dreadful day you’ve been putting off for so long is now here and you can’t keep on avoiding it. But how do I deal with the dust and clutter you ask? Luckily for you, we created a list of tips to get you going! So grab your broomsticks, out your gloves on and turn on your favourite song. It’s time to work!

Get rid of it!

If you don’t need it, if you haven’t used it in a year, get rid of it! Is it valuable? Throw a garage sale! Sell it online! Give it to a friend you know would benefit from it. This will help you de-clutter and give you some extra pocket money to treat yourself for your hard work. Organize!

There are great ways to get organized and luckily the Internet has some amazing websites like Pinterest, to help you find your perfect organisation tips. If you are crafty, throw yourself into some DIY projects. Redecorate!

The best way to properly clean a room is to move around your furniture as long as that doesn’t require any heavy lifting, of course. This will give you access to space you haven’t cleaned for years and enable you to see the room from a new angle once it’s finished. It’s like having a new home!Polish, wash and scrub!

Proper spring clean requires you to do some dirty work. Grab your strongest cleaning spray and wipe your surfaces clean. Wash those rugs and polish those floors until they’re so smooth you can use them as a skate ring.Reward yourself!

Once you’re completely finished, treat yourself to something nice. After finishing a room or a task you’ve been dreading to do, don’t forget to give yourself a small reward you earned it! Don’t make that reward last for too long though keep your eyes on the prize!
